Last July 24, 2017, the Dominican Sisters of the Most Holy Rosary of the Philippines, in Molo, Iloilo City celebrated their 92nd founding anniversary. This year was made extra special because of the election of their 7th Mother General in the person of Mo. Ma. Nemia Daral, OP, principal of St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Bacolod. During the celebration of the mass presided by Most Rev. Angel Lagdameo, DD, Archbishop of Jaro, the new Mother General and her councilors were installed. Those who were installed: 1st councilor and Vicar General Mo. Mary Celestine Bancal, OP, 2nd councilor Sr. Ma. Lucilla Narra, OP, 3rd councilor Sr. Gemma Sobredilla, OP, 4th councillor Sr. Ma. Arlene Laude, OP, 5th councilor & Secretary General Sr. Ma. Arlene Nacionales, OP, 6th councilor Sr. Ma. Victoria Maghanoy, OP. Together with the Archbishop were his concelebrants: Fr. Ramon Claro Mendez, OP, & Fr. Paul Reagan Talavera, OP, from the House of the Most Holy Rosary in Jaro; Fr. Manuel Vergara, OSA, from the University of San Agustin; Fr. Oswald Duran, OSA and Fr. Peter Guarin, secretary of the Archbishop.
