Angelicum School Iloilo opened once more its school year, welcoming new and old students last June 19, 2017. The school celebrated the Mass of the Holy Spirit on June 21, 2017 with Fr. Ramon Claro G. Mendez, OP, the school director, as presider and Fr. Paul Reagan O. Talavera, the school principal, as con-celebrant. The readings taken from the Solemnity of Pentecost centered on the theme of unity in diversity, that even though we speak in different tongues, we speak of the mighty acts of God. For the first time, the school invited an alumnus. Dr. Joseph Dean Nicolo, the Medical Center Chief of Western Visayas Medical Center, for a short sharing after the Mass.  He talked about his experiences in Angelicum School and how the lessons he learned helped him handle and face the challenges he had in life. He told the learners, employees, and parents that, in order to succeed in life, they have to remember three P’s: Persevere, Practice, and Pray. “
