From August 12 until August 31, 2016, Angelicum School (Iloilo) served as the venue for the ALAB Photo Exhibit. Mounted at the school’s Et Nos Art Gallery, ALAB showcased a photo exhibit of eight (8) advocacies related to education, culture and arts, and care for the environment.
These advocacies include: Send a Child to School (Fr. JoemarSibug, OP and the Institute of Communication, Colegio de San Juan de Letran), People’s Pilgrimage on Climate Reality (AG Saño), Climb Against Cancer (NiniSacro), Black Pencil Project (Mon Corpuz), KlasrumsngPag-Asa (Atty. Angelo Valencia), The Story-telling Project (Rey Bufi), Diksyonaryo Atbp. (LiaManalacdel Castillo), and White Canvas (Dino Dimar). The photos tell stories of ordinary people with extra-ordinary passions who hope to share their stories and inspire others to support their advocacies.
This project, organized by the DPP Commission on Missions headed by Fr. Jose Martin Sibug, OP, is also built in line with the celebration of the 800th foundation anniversary of the Order of Preachers. The exhibit will be on Campus Tour in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao from the month of August onwards.
